Entrepreneur or investor immigration to the United States enables a person to enter the country to start a business or invest in one. The benefits of this type of immigration are getting an employment authorization card and working in the United States for up to five years. In addition, people with these visas can also bring their spouses and children with them. The full scope of this has benefits for companies, clients, their families, and the country.

Business immigration involves obtaining a visa to enter a country to conduct business. Business immigration often includes investor visas, employment-based green cards, work visas, and permanent residence for skilled individuals. Visa applications vary depending on the country and the individual. The most common visa types for business purposes are:

  1. Temporary work visa: This employment-based visa allows a person to temporarily enter the country to work in a specific position at an approved employer.
  2. Permanent residence visa: Also employment-based, this visa allows a person to live in the country indefinitely and work in any position they choose, subject to local labor laws and regulations.
  3. Investor visa: This is an investment-based visa that grants permanent residence status (and sometimes citizenship) in exchange for investing money in designated areas.

Employers that offer employment opportunities for foreign nationals should work closely with legal counsel to ensure they adhere to immigration policy and that their immigration matters are handled appropriately.

What Our Clients Have to Say

L-1B followed by a Successful L1-A for Intracompany Transferee Manager from Canada

Jake and his team successfully helped me get an L1-B visa in 2015. 2 weeks ago, they did it again by having my L1-B upgraded to a L1-A which will create a strong path to get my green card.

Jake and his team were always there for us during and after the whole process. There is no way I can describe the feeling I had when my approval notice came in the mail. Looking forward to work with the team in the near future. Thanks for all you do.

O-1 Approval for Business Executive from Venezuela followed by Successful “Green Cards” for Him and His Family

I have mixed feelings now that all the process of obtaining our permanent residence documentation is over. I will miss exchanging emails and follow up calls from Giselle and her very professional and warm immigration team

Effective and clear communicationsreasonable expectations of the success of the process, but always with the comfort […] that we were in the right hands.

Thank you very much for your professional, supportive and sincere efforts, first with our work visa and later with our Green Cards! We always felt you close, sincere and that we were taken care of by the best!  We will always be grateful to you all!

EB-1 Green Card for Outstanding Professors and Researchers for Foreign National from Romania

I cannot be more grateful for Giselle and her team’s outstanding work with my green card application in the EB-1 Preference for Outstanding Professors and Researchers. Jake was always available to address all my concerns, and his strong motivation contributed significantly to the successful outcome of my case. His dedication and professionalism are impressive. he, together with her team members Jake and April, prepared a very strong petition highlighting the contributions of my research work in the field of condensed matter-material physics, my international recognition, publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as current employer’s need for my services as a professor of physics.

Thank you so very much for your team’s outstanding work with this pivotal green card matter!
